The Peoria German-American Society Harmonie Club will host its Annual Bratfest at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12403 Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) from Noon – 8 pm.  A family-friendly event, it will feature German foods such as pork schnitzel, bratwurst, beef BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, mashed potatoes with mushroom sauce, German potato salad, sauerkraut, red cabbage, coleslaw, Bavarian pretzels, homemade ice cream, and dessert along with German and domestic beer plus soft drinks and a cash bar. At 1 pm, live entertainment will be provided by Keith Zweifel and his band from Wisconsin plus Rathskellar Brummers and the Lindenhof Echoes. Activities will include a Muscle Car, Hot Rod, and Customized Motorcycle Cruis’n from Noon – 5 pm, a Stein Holding competition, arts and craft vendors, a shooting tent, plus the playground will be open.  Admission is free.  For more information, visit www.peoriagermans.net
