The Peoria Area Civic Chorale will present An American Family Christmas at Five Points Washington (located at 360 N. Wilmor in Washington) on Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2:30 pm. The repertoire will include reimagined versions of favorite Christmas songs like “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and new favorites like an African themed “Noel,” an a capella version of “O Magnum Mysterium,” and a men’s choral version of “Blue Christmas.” Featuring soprano and Peoria native Dr. Jamie-Rose Guarrine, the Peoria Area Civic Chorale Youth Chorus, a winner of PACC’s Young Artist competition nightly and a Jr. High Festival Chorus performance on Friday, Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make appearances.
