“A Moment Is Enough”, a short excerpt of an upcoming feature film being made in Peoria entitled, “Poet in a Modern World”, follows two artists, young and old, choosing Beauty in a world defying it. The 16 mm short film focuses on the young filmmaker who conjures a past muse with his imagination during a melancholy winter day. Vacillating between upholding certain ideals and compromising them to end his friction with modernity, a bittersweet truth eventually emerges from his fantasy.
