The Central Illinois Jazz Society’s January show will feature Kevin Hart and the Vibe Tribe at the Trailside Event Center (located at 4416 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights) from 6 – 8:30 pm. The CI Jazz House Band directed by Larry Harms opens the show. Featuring Kevin on vibes joined by Jonny Beckett on saxophones and flute, George Turner on guitar, Brandon Mooberry on bass and Tom Marko on drums performing an evening of classic, contemporary, Latin, and original jazz along with instrumental pop tunes, familiar TV & movie themes and more. Admission is $8 for CIJS members, $12 for the public and students are free. You may bring your own snacks, however no beverages which will be available for purchase.
