The Central Illinois Jazz Society’s October show will feature the Joe Policastro Trio at the Trailside Event Center (located at 4416 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights) from 6 – 8:30 pm. The CI Jazz House Band directed by Larry Harms opens the show. Featuring the Chicago-based jazz trio led by bassist Joe Policastro featuring guitarist Dave Miller and drummer Mikel Avery. Admission is $8 for CIJS members, $12 for the public and students are free. You may bring your own snacks, however no beverages which will be available for purchase.
