The Central Illinois Jazz Society will host David Hoffman & Friends at the Trailside Event Center (located at 4416 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights) from 6 – 8:30 pm.  Hoffman will pay trumpet and flugelhorn and will be joined by Dan Burke on saxophone, Andy Crawford on bass, Mike Nellas on guitar and Jason Brannon on drums.   The CIJS House Band under the leadership of Larry Harms will kick off the show, featuring  jazz musicians from the area with a variety of jazz standards and other popular arrangements.   Admission is $6 for CIJS members, $10 for the public or free for students.   You may bring your own snacks, however no beverages which will be available for purchase.  For more information, visit http://www.cijs.org
