The Central Illinois Jazz Orchestra will perform at the Broadway Lounge (located at 316 SW Washington Street in downtown Peoria) beginning at 7 pm.  The CIJO is a big band committed to keeping the big jazz sound alive made up of professional and semi-professional musicians from the heart of Illinois that include music educators, business professionals, and full-time performers. They play classic jazz charts from Count Basie to Stan Kenton and from Duke Ellington to Maynard Ferguson and is fronted by Dr. Todd Kelly from Bradley University who also plays trumpet with the band.  Admission is free with a required 2 item minimum purchase per person (at least one item being food).  For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com
