The 2nd Annual Morton VFW Car Show will take place at the Club’s grounds (located at 2310 Veterans Road in Morton) from 10 am – 6 pm. Featuring cars from 4 local car clubs including the Illinois Valley antique Auto Club, the Central Illinois Jaguar Club, the McLean County Antique Automobile Club and the Mid-Illinois Corvette Club, there will also be food provided by the German American Central Society with pretzels, beer, ice cream and Mackinaw Valley wine. Live entertainment will be provided by Eddie Korosa’s polka band from Chicago, performing from 10 am – noon and from 12:30 – 3:30 pm Spoony and the Bootleggers will perform. There will also be a display of antique tractors from around Central Illinois. Admission is free. In case of rain, the show will take place on July 9.
