Hours are 5 – 9 pm Sundays through Thursdays and 5 – 11 pm on Fridays & Saturdays and 5 – 9 on December 24 through January 5. Note: Wait times on Friday and Saturday nights are extremely long this year, at times over three hours. There will be up to 250 cars an hour through the display, and traffic comes in from four directions. If you visit on Friday and Saturday, expect that you will be in a very long line and plan accordingly. If at all possible, come to the display Sunday through Thursday night.

A New Year’s Eve Salsa party will take place at the Contemporary Art Center featuring a dance lesson from 8:30 – 9:30 pm and open dancing to DJ Ed Caballero from 9:30 pm – 1 am. There will also be party favors and a champagne toast at Midnight.  Mostly Salsa is played but also Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue, Tango, Reggaeton, R&B, Cumbia. The 2025 Polar Plunge will take place at The East Peoria Boat Club (located at 707 Collins Lane in East Peoria)  beginning with registration at 10 am and the plunge at 1 pm.  Bring a swimsuit and a towel.
