Learns how to operate Piranha metal working machine.
Learns to perform basic assembly area welding on items such as hold-down bars and simple frames.
Assist with engine test operations.
Fabricates various types of metal enclosures used in the standby power package industry with minimal supervision.
Learns to install and assembly some power package enclosure items such as doors, screen assemblies, sound attenuating insulation, louvers and louver motors.
Installs engine fumes, oil and water lines.
Learns to locate and install exhaust systems.
Arrives at work on time and keeps absences to a minimum.
Maintains a clean, uncluttered work area.
Readily works in other departments when work flow demands.
Shows an ability to work independently, gets help when necessary.
Understands safe operating procedures for Assembly area, follows these procedures.

§ Perform visual inspection
o o Welds
o o Paint
o o Surface Defects
o o Cleanliness
o o Packaging
§ Identify and analyze quality problems that may cause assembly difficulty
§ Safely handle and maintain precision gages and measurement equipment
§ Repackage inspected material
§ Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks, Worksavers, jib hoists, and forklift
§ Basic knowledge of computer software programs
Education & Experience
§ Bachelors degree and/or technical experience preferred.
Location: Peoria
Available: Immediately. Full Time. Temp to Hire. All shifts.
Pay: DOE per hour
