American Income first appeared on the business landscape with a truly unique idea — developing a niche marketplace selling supplemental life insurance products to labor unions and working families in America.
The founding principle was to improve the quality of life of the working class and to provide opportunity unlimited to all who become associated with American Income and our sister company, National Income Life. We’ve succeeded in that endeavor.
Today, American Income is licensed in 49 states, New Zealand, and Canada — and our subsidiary Company, National Income Life Insurance Company is licensed in New York. Best, one of the country’s oldest and most respected insurance ratings company (rating as of June 2007).
What Do We Do?

As an American Income licensed representative you would be the liaison between the Company and the customer in providing supplemental life and health insurance to the members and families of labor unions, credit unions and associations. | | Divsion Manager-Sales - Manpower | DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures customer satisfaction
Manages by objectives through the organization
Creates and executes plans to meet/exceed stated sales goals for assigned region
Oversees the activities of sales personnel as assigned
Manages succession planning for the organization
Reports as required updated metrics, financial performance, and project statuses
Ensures SCSI culture is fully engrained throughout the organization
Creates and executes plans for continuous improvements in accuracy, reliability, and timeliness
Manages and oversees “voice of the customer” processes and systems to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely feedback on any/all customer issues
Creates and rolls out mechanism to analyze profitability and required operational productivity for all projects
Creates and rolls out mechanism to analyze profitability and operational productivity achievement for all projects annually for all current operations
Manages customer visits to assigned region
Coordinates with sales teams in other regions to ensure fluid communication flow on all projects and/or issues
Creates and executes schedule to meet with supplier and OEM customers in assigned region for business updates and new business prospecting
Manages and monitors the performance of sales personnel within assigned region
Ensures confidentiality of SCSI
Other duties as assigned
SKILL & KNOWLEDGE
Must possess strong leadership and written/oral communication skills
Experience in logistics management (distribution, transportation, 3PL, systems, etc.) preferred
6 Sigma training is preferred
Strong PC/Systems knowledge/experience with database and reporting tools a plus
Strong presentation skills a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must have a bachelor degree or five years’ experience
**Must have flexibility to travel or relocate as needed**
